Bara Consulting’s Jim Pooley, Etienne de Villiers, and Adam Kuhl recently visited the DMC (Drilling, Mining, Construction) facility near Potchefstroom in South Africa to see their Resemin ‘Raptor’ 7X Long Hole Drill Rig – the first in Africa! The RAPTOR 7X is a fully mechanised and automated electrohydraulic rig for long hole applications on sections from 4 x 4 m up to 6 x 6 m. It’s a cutting-edge machine perfectly designed for the demanding African mining environment, which is now seeing its first deployment here.
